Candle Burning Tips
Tips for extending the life of your Eleventh House (EH) candles:
- We recommend burning container style candles long enough for the melt pool to reach the edges of the container. This will prevent tunneling and will also use all of the wax and fragrance of the candle.
- Be sure to trim the wick 1/4 inch from the top of the candle (wax portion). This will minimize the flame height and prevent any soot exhausting from the flame.
- Make sure your candle is placed on a level, heat resistant surface away from any drafts.
- Candles should not be burned for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
- Candles should be enjoyed out in the open and not inside of any enclosed glass or decorative piece that is not suitable for housing candles.
- Your candle is done when there is about ~ 1 inch of wax or less remaining. Lighting a candle without enough wax in the bottom will result in overheating and could cause the glass to shatter because of the extreme heat of the flame.
- Do not ever leave a lit candle unattended for any reason. This could result in an accident that could cause damage to property or people.
- Please burn safely and responsibly.
